About

Aldous Huxley wrote, “the propagandist’s purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are human.”

Today these propagandists, armed with ideological dogma in one hand and religious zealotry in the other, have succeeded in ways that not even Huxley could have imagined. Laws are made based not on the Constitution, not on the principles of the Enlightenment or on science, but on irrationality and bigotry, on tyrannical and antidemocratic grounds. This is not the behavior of an enlightened people, a magnanimous and evolved society.

America is not the “shining city on the hill.” But it can be.
